Sous Chef

Job description:

• Responsibility for the daily operations in the kitchen
• Guiding/training new employees
• Supervising the compliance with regulations in the field of safety, working conditions and presentation methods
• You are jointly responsible for the HACCP and the hygiene code within the kitchen
• Carrying out preparatory work
• Passing on the preparation of orders by performing a la minute cooking activities, portioning and garnishing 
• Independence in preparing dishes and ordering products according to the agreed guidelines   
• Assessing the quality of products/ingredients to be used and preparing tools
• Carrying out preparations, monitoring/checking quality, taste, colour, fluidity and making adjustments

Requirements:

• You must have experience as a sous chef in a a large kitchen
• You must have experience at working in a professional kitchen
• It would be nice to have previous Dutch working experience  
• Availability to relocate in The Netherlands 
• It is necessary to have a driver’s licence  
• You must be a citizen of a country within the E.U.

• If the job requires you to have a VCA certificate, we can help you by paying your exam
• Weekly wages, transferred into your account every Thursday
