Surveying Assistant

What you will do:

You will assist professional surveyors with leveling work and elevation measurements in the Arnhem region. Your role is key to supporting the surveying process by ensuring that leveling rods are correctly positioned and stable during measurements. You will work closely with the surveyor, taking independent responsibility for your specific tasks on-site to ensure high precision in data collection.

Main responsibilities:

• Assisting the surveyor with precise leveling measurements
• Moving and stabilizing the leveling rod between measurement points
• Ensuring the rod remains perfectly steady during the measuring process
• Working closely with the surveyor while managing your own tasks independently
• Navigating to different measurement sites within the region

What competencies do you need?

• Experience: Leveling work is a plus
• Language: English at B2 level is required
• Mobility: You must be able and willing to ride a bicycle as your primary mode of transport
• Nice to have: Ability to cycle while safely holding a 2-meter rod in various traffic conditions
