What you will do:
You will drive the CE truck to various project sites across the country (driving is only required to get to the location). Once on site, you will step out of the cabin to work alongside your team as a Road Constructor and Putstel Specialist. You will drill and install wells, manage groundwater levels, and install pumps or pipelines to ensure construction sites stay dry. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in implementing innovative systems to align manhole covers perfectly with asphalt, eliminating traffic hazards and noise nuisances for local residents.
Main responsibilities:
- Driving the CE vehicle to project sites nationwide (driving is approximately 20-30% of the job)
- Drilling, installing, and maintaining wells for water extraction and drainage
- Setting up dewatering systems, pumps, and pipelines to keep construction foundations dry
- Installing and repairing manholes, manhole covers, and surrounding asphalt surfaces
- Monitoring groundwater levels and performing specialized road maintenance
- Collaborating closely with your team and wrapping up each day by ensuring the equipment is ready for the next ride
What competencies do you need?
- Dual Role: You must want to work both as a driver and actively on the ground as a road constructor / put setter.
- Licenses & Certificates: Valid CE driving license with Code 95. A VCA certificate is required (or must be obtained at your own cost within the first 3 months).
- Language Skills: English at a B2 level or better to communicate effectively with the team. You must also be willing to learn Dutch.
- Citizenship: EU citizenship is mandatory
