C driver garbage truck

What you will do:

Your workday will start around 07:00 AM, executing national waste collection routes centered around the Scherpenzeel area. You will work 9+ hours a day (daily breaks are on your own time), ensuring a steady and reliable routine with no cabin sleepovers required. Depending on the route and the specific vehicle, you will navigate door-to-door domestic waste collection. You will either drive a traditional garbage truck supported by loaders handling up to 1,000 household containers, or operate with a co-driver handling approximately 150 containers together. Additionally, you will be flexible to drive Hook-lift and Portal-lift trucks as needed, and open to occasionally stepping into the co-driver role yourself.

Main responsibilities:

• Safely operating a C or CE vehicle on domestic and commercial waste collection routes around Scherpenzeel
• Managing door-to-door residential routes (approx. 1,000 containers) in coordination with a team of loaders
• Handing dual-operator routes (approx. 150 containers) working closely alongside your assigned co-driver
• Operating specialized equipment, including Hook-lift and Portal-lift trucks, for efficient container placement and pickup
• Demonstrating excellent vehicle maneuvering skills through tight residential streets and urban areas
• Maintaining a flexible attitude, including occasionally working as a co-driver when required

• What competencies do you need?
• Licenses: Valid BE driving license is necessary
• Fitness: Good physical condition is required (heavy loading and unloading involved)
• Language: English at B2 level or better is required to communicate with customers and the team
• Citizenship: EU citizenship is mandatory

• Licenses: Valid C driving license with Code 95 at least 9 months valid (or Valid BE Licence)
• Fitness: Good physical condition is required
• Language: English at B2 level is required
